A Thunderstorm swept across central Iowa on Friday evening dropping pea sized hail on much of the area, but the Charles City Press reports today that in Charles City, at 7pm the Size of the Hail grew significantly to golfball size and bigger. The Charles City Communications Center had reports of hail up to 1-1/2 inches in diameter. PDR Delight if you ask me.
